QA Automation using Perl
Perl has been used for years in QA for various tasks such as preparing configuration files before the test runs and parsing log files after the tests. In the past few years a lot of extensions have been added to Perl. Now, in addition to the above tasks Perl can now be used in all parts of the automatic test environment. It can be used to behave like a regular user, move the mouse and click on buttons on any application running on Microsoft Windows or turn into a web client and test any web based application.
Especially for QA engineers with some background in Perl.
| The course participants will learn about the basic testing tools and frameworks available in Perl by looking at unit-tests of Perl modules. Then, the course participants will expand their set of tools in order to test other kind of applications. The focus will be on testing of Windows GUI, Web applications and Network Appliances. We assume a minimum of 6 month experience in Perl. If you don't have that experience but you are interested in using Perl for QA automation, please contact us to discuss the possibilities. |
New courses will take place in spring 2016
